The Kresge Atrium is the campus hub of the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. For many years the walls of the atrium were adorned with oil paintings of university deans. A committee was formed to create a vision for updating and transforming the space. I created a proposal with the school’s offices of Diversity and Inclusion and Human Resources and our proposal to create a community narratives project was chosen. The Facing Forward project highlights diverse students, faculty, alumni and staff at the School of Public Health. The project includes 18 large-scale portraits and stories. The visual identity and graphic design for the project were created in collaboration with the team at the Morcos Key design studio.
